The Cover Girl for the May, 1962 issue of The Nebraska Electric Farmer was a young celebrity from a farm near Sutton – 2 ½ year old Terri Ham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kendall Ham.
An
article appeared in the May 31, 1962 issue of The Clay County News that told
about the cover story of that issue of The Nebraska Electric Farmer magazine in
which a local family was featured.
The
Kendall Ham family had recently installed an electric water system on the farm
that received the attention of the magazine. So among other important events of
this week we have the 50th anniversary of that story and this
picture.
