This house was the home of Dr. Asa in Ong, the long-time physician for the southeast corner of Clay County. Tom Sheridan moved the house to Sutton. It is the home of Rose and Butch Bauder today.
ReplyDeleteI have so many good memories growing up in this house! The house has 4 bedrooms upstairs, including a sun porch. The upstairs also has long Hallway and two huge walk in closets. The downstairs has a nice living room, dining room, and a big kitchen. When I was growing up we also used one of the downstairs rooms for our playroom. My mother had a sewing room. We would roller skate in our basement and play shuffleboard. We also had a ping pong table. I absolutely loved growing up in this house.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED it too! And my bedroom was, the sun room, absolutely loved it!! 😍
DeleteI remember the day this house was moved to Sutton. Mom & Dad brought us in to town to watch that large home move ever so slowly down main street. What a beautiful home Aunt Pat made it!
ReplyDeleteTY Cuz! It was a Great home to grow up in!! 💖
