n The Management
According to the will of Hiram Curtiss in Jan 1907, he left this property to his spouse, Fanny B. Curtiss. There are many names on the warranty deeds over the years, but in November 1952, the property was sold by Frank E. Weston and Carrie E. Weston to Richard G. Merrick and Jean A. Merrick for $7000. Merricks owned the property until they sold it in August 1999 to Michael and Noel (Nuss)Ford for $57,000. In 2009, an addition was added to the south portion of the house, and an attached garage added to the west portion.
ReplyDeleteOn the abstract of title, the first mention of a mortgage is in 1914. I have many old documents if anyone is interested in deciphering them.
