The Sutton Historical Society contributes a monthly article related to Sutton history to the Sutton Life Magazine published by Mustang, Inc. in Sutton. Many of the postings on this blog are based on some of those articles. Contact Jarod Griess at 402-984-4203 or at neighborhoodlife@yahoo.com for more information about this publication.
TRAFFIC
Our all-time number of page views went over 130,000 in October 2017. We currently average more than 5,000 page views a month. For some reason, traffic from France has spiked spectacularly since late summer 2017. Do not know what that is all about.Thank you for visiting.
I have a question deriving from reading some history…. My family is from Sutton environs - not knowing exactly: my great grandparents, grandparents and others - my mother was ~12 when the family moved in late 1920s to CA. My question: when did electrified households become the norm in Sutton and nearby farms
