1946 New Store Construction- North end of SW Downtown.
The Sutton News, February 28, 1946 described work on a new store which became the Blue Valley IGA Store. Over time, the location hosted OK Tires, State Farm, and currently, Jessica Moore's Optometry Shop. What else?
My earlist recollection of this store was when Grover Schneider had the Blue Valley IGA Store with Eddie Fuehrer's meat market connected to the south.
Continuing the intermittent quiz "Who did what, and where?" we have a related news item from the same time.
