Ong's Dr. Asa Retired in 1946
Sutton had its Doc Nuss. An overlapping contemporary serving the Southeast corner of the county was Dr. Asa.
Making this a bit of a Sutton story, Tom Sheridan brought Dr. Asa's Ong home to the south end of Way Avenue in Sutton where that Sheridan family resided. Butch and Rose Bowder later lived in the house before passing along in the family.
My family's Neighborhood Coincident Story is that I live next door to Dr. Asa's house, my sister lives across the street. My mother and some of her siblings were among the 2,000+ babies delivered by Dr. Asa.
