1870s Businesses in Sutton
Newspapers.com has a few issues of the Clay County Globe newspaper but enough for a decent snapshot of the scope of business enterprises in Sutton in 1877 and 1879.

History Nebraska, Lincoln, is currently digitizing all the newspapers in their files. You can check with them at historynebraska.gov. They started about two years ago.
