This house began as the rural school at District #16, one of two Nuss Schools in School Creek Township, about four miles northwest of Sutton.

Personal note: I attended kindergarten through the fifth grade in this school. It came to town school with us and was placed across the street from the school grounds and served as the Sutton kindergarten school for several years.

It is now the home of Mr. and Mrs Gary Sinnen.
