This home was included in the 2008 calendar by the Sutton Historical Society - Sutton Historic Homes.

George H. Honey built this home at 203 S. Maltby in 1920. Honey was a Trustee of Sutton in 1880 and operated a hardware store, a furniture store and a mortuary on the property west of the home. That building later served as the Sutton High School auditorium and is now the location of the Sutton Community Center. Otto and Emma Kohler purchased the home from Mr. Honey. The Kohler's owned and operated the Kohler Mortuary across the street and to the north for several years.
